Who Is Riversound Woodworks
I am a woodworker based in the Atlanta, GA area specializing in boutique cases, stands, and desks for the audio recording professional, musician, and enthusiast. When the mood strikes, I also build tables, shelves, media stands, consoles, cutting boards, various wood and epoxy projects by commission.
I primariy work alone with occassional help from my wife, son, shop dog Flash, or our cat, Dr. Mitziana Dooflatchey. (If I’m being honest, she’s not much help but I don’t want to hurt her feelings.)

Hardwoods
Hardwoods primarily come from my friends at Highland Lumber in Dacula, GA where Diego has been taking great care of me since I started. Another great source of lumber and advice has been Steve over at Southeastern Tree Company. Once in awhile, I will run across an interesting piece of lumber at the local Woodcraft.
Tools
I could never list all of the tools I use but the folks at Harvey and Grizzly provide the majority of my major tools.
Finishes
Nearly all products coming out of my shop are finished in Rubio Monocoat. This blended Wax/Oil finished was initially developed for flooring applications but has found favour with the woodworking community for its ease of applicaiton, duarability, and beauty. I have to agree with all of those and so, it’s what I use.
