Description

4u slant rack in solid hardwood (hard maple and walnut). This rack features box-joints to highlight the contrasting maple and walnut woods. Finished with a hand-rubbed wax-oil finish (Rubio Monocoat – pure) and a paste wax top coat for added protection and sheen.

Using hard maple, walnut, red grandis, red oak, and other species, our racks span the range from conservative and elegant single species construction to combination pieces featuring contrasting splines, functional box joints, lock miters, and even epoxy inlays.

Slant racks can provide better visibility on the desktop. In exchange, however, they tend to compromise options for the bottom one or two rack spaces as the angle decreases usable depth for your gear. In 4u configuration, you are limited to just a few inches of depth on the lowest rack space. This is perfect for feed through panels, vent panels, some shallow reverb and patch bay units.
